The Test

When Oma was asked to leave her home at 14, she had to go look for a job. She found a job to be a maid at an Aristocrats home. The lady of the house asked Oma to dust their bedroom where money was hidden. It was hidden for two reasons, the first one was to see if she was honest and the second one was to see if she dusted everything even way in the back of the furniture and in corners. Oma went into the large bedroom, stared at the beautiful things and then started dusting, taking everything off the dressers carefully. When she completed one area she carefully put everything back the way it was, being sure to shake out the dresser cloth. As she shook out the runner, to her astonishment, paper money came flying out which she immediately took to the lady of the house. When Oma's dusting in the room was complete, the lady went to the room where she looked around and ran her hand on the dresser, end tables and on the floor boards. She was very pleased because this young girl new how to work plus she was honest. Sounds like she got an "A" on this test.
